Before you book

Practical answers before you commit.

Learn how neighborhood batches, pricing, providers, service changes, and issue reporting work on Blokpakt.

Booking and payment

How does a street batch form?

Enter your address to see whether your street is active. When 2 or more homes on the same street request the same service window, the group rate unlocks automatically. You can invite a neighbor from your booking link.

When am I charged?

Bookings are available Monday through Saturday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM local time. Your payment method is authorized when you book and charged after the service is completed and the required before-and-after photos are uploaded. Any approved add-on must be recorded and confirmed through Blokpakt before it is charged.

How do I reschedule or cancel?

You can reschedule or cancel for free until 24 hours before the scheduled service window. Open your booking or contact support as soon as possible; shorter-notice changes may be subject to the terms shown before confirmation.

What should I do before the provider arrives?

Clear personal items from the work area, secure pets, identify gates and water or power access, and tell us about hazards or restricted areas. Providers can only service areas they can safely access.

What are common service limitations?

Weather, unsafe access, blocked areas, hazardous materials, unusually large quantities, and work outside the selected service scope may require a new quote or an approved add-on. Any overloaded or unusual property condition requires provider photos and the homeowner's online approval before an added charge.

Trust and safety

What happens if weather delays my service?

The provider or Blokpakt will contact you when weather makes the booked work unsafe or impractical. We will offer the next available window, and you will see any change or cancellation terms before confirming it.

How are providers reviewed?

We review provider identity, service experience, references, and the information needed for the services they offer. Providers must maintain the licenses, permits, and insurance required for their trade and location.

Why does Blokpakt use job photos?

Before-and-after photos document the service area, help confirm completion, and give customers and providers a shared record if a question or dispute comes up. Photos should focus on the work and avoid people or unrelated private information.

How do I report a problem?

Use the booking or job-tracking page to describe what happened and attach photos. We review the report, contact the provider when needed, and help document a resolution. For immediate safety emergencies, contact local emergency services first.

Service changes and preparation

How do additional services and charges work?

The provider and customer discuss the requested change first. The customer then submits the added service and proposed amount through the Blokpakt website. The provider reviews it, and the customer confirms the scope and price through Blokpakt before optional work begins or an add-on is charged.

What should I prepare before the provider arrives?

Clear personal items from the work area, secure pets, identify gates and water or power access, and tell us about hazards or restricted areas. Providers can only service areas they can safely access.
